Steve Berke
CEO

A former professional tennis player, Berke graduated from Yale University in 2003. He has gained a significant social media following with his musical parody videos and political activism. In 2004, Mr. Berke was invited to be one of 16 young entrepreneurs on a primetime FOX network television show with Virgin Group CEO, Sir Richard Branson. Having learned the importance of branding and showmanship from his mentor Sir Richard, Mr. Berke began developing his own brand by performing stand-up comedy and creating a YouTube channel, where he produced comedic videos - which now have more than 25 million views. In 2011, Mr. Berke ran for Mayor of Miami Beach against a popular two-term incumbent – he came second out of four candidates, and won nearly 30 percent of the votes cast on Election Day. His unorthodox campaign utilized comedy and his YouTube channel as a vehicle to appeal to young and disenfranchised voters. One of the leading cannabis activists and executives under 40, Berke has appeared on the front page of both the New York Times and Maxim Magazine, and has been featured in The New York Daily News, San Francisco Chronicle, Miami Herald and dozens of other international media publications from around the world.
